Rebecca Samuel - Solicitor

Rebecca was admitted in 2004 and specialises in civil and commercial litigation.  Her experience encompasses a wide range of areas including insurance, negligence, company/shareholder disputes, intellectual property and insolvency law.

Rebecca has experience in the High Court and District Court in New Zealand, and has appeared in the Cook Islands High Court.  She was admitted as a Solicitor in the High Court of England and Wales in 2007.  She has also been involved in arbitrations and mediations.  Rebecca looks at settlement options and alternative dispute resolution in order to achieve commercial outcomes for her clients.

Rebecca holds a Master of Laws (Honours) as well as a Music degree with a major in Performance Voice from the University of Auckland.

Rebecca's interests include music, art and travelling and she has been a performing member of Opera Factory in Auckland for many years.  She studied Italian at University and is learning Spanish as a new challenge, after travelling through Central and South America for 4 months recently.  She is a keen sports supporter - particularly rugby and cricket, plays indoor netball and runs to keep fit.
